Projects

Below, see the paper crafts I’ve been enjoying making and the sample post cards for Cincinnati.

In Metairie/New Orleans much time is spent preparing for Mardi Gras. At the parades little gifts, called throws, are given to paradegoers. I’ve taken down our 2026 throws and will be adding our 2027 throws as they are made.

Above are a couple of book boxes that I’ve made. The first opens to disclose a hiding place and the second has a pull out box.
To the far right are matchbook notepads that I sold at the French Quarter Fest. Next to that is the twisty-turny toy that you can rotate the Dr. Seuss characters to give them new tops, middles and bottoms. Below is a fold-out book and storage box. So much fun with paper crafts!

Below are some new wooden postcards that I made as samples for Cincinatti postcards. The first two was a challenge from my daughter to make postcards from a Visitor’s Guide we picked up. The next three are from pictures I took of murals in downtown Cincinnati!
