How It’s Done
All I use for my torn paper collages is paper torn into little pieces and each one placed specifically. There is no paint. Sometimes I add visual texture with printed papers or I color the papers with colored pencils. Occasionally I use a watercolor wash on tissue paper or old sewing patterns and tear it up.

The Glass Swamp
I was given a Chihuly calendar and made this collage (8’x16′) from it’s pages. The colors are so vibrant and the shapes so cool! It is backed with papyrus.
Chloe
Chloe is an Art Deco themed collage that is 7.5″ x 11″ x 1.5″. All of her pieces are made from Art Deco patterns she is backed by papyrus I bought in Egypt.
Red Bird Visitor
I found this 1920’s illustration and just had to remake it with more vibrant colors and a song background. The prints are all of pictures of 1920’s fabrics and the paper frame is a picture of a Civil War frame.

We Hold These Truths to be Self-Evident
This 11″ x 14″ will be going to a 1st Amendment show in June of 2026. I have woven the first amendment into the Constitution and shown women who embody it’s spirit.
